The white-washed-look flooring is laid throughout, broken only by the tiles on the bathroom floors. Glass railings here, too, seemingly disappear to prevent any obstruction of views. The large, bright ensuite offers a double vanity, two rainheads in a grey-tiled shower, a freestanding tub (that’s where the blinds come into play) and a walkout to the front balcony. Privacy is not a concern as the floor-to-ceiling windows are equipped with smart blinds that are remote/app/voice controlled. In the primary bedroom, glass walls separate the walk-in closet and the ensuite. Illuminated glass handrails shine along their edges. The kitchen features a four-metre-long island topped with marble-like quartz, a 72″-wide built-in fridge, 36″ gas range and a walkout to the deck. The raised living room has a grey feature wall, the colour of which is echoed in the foyer marble, kitchen quartz and decor touches throughout. Inset ceiling niches add the illusion of some additional height that was surrendered when the floor was raised. The living room sits up six steps to allow for the garage below. The neutral interior is set off with 12-foot ceilings on the main floor. The ensuite bathroom is visible from outside, at top right. The single-car garage makes a statement with its glass door. The two-storey, four-plus-one bedroom home is not for the shy - or for those without blinds.
